AICTE member secretary Prof. A letter in this regard has been written by Rajiv Kumar to all states and technical colleges. It has been written that in the online application form in the academic session 2020-21, the technical college should give correct information about studying from the regular, remote and online mode.
The website should also clearly state the course and subject. Students enroll before admission on the basis of information of difference and subject etc. through all three mediums. If an institution does not follow the rules then action will also be taken against it.
Often students complain to AICTE that during admission they have not been informed about regular, remote studies. In addition, many colleges give incorrect information about which subject various degree programs will teach. Due to these complaints, the rule has been changed now.
