Reliance shares gain
Reliance Industries is going to further expand its retail business as well as expand its business in the online market. Reliance on Tuesday through its subsidiary Reliance Retail, Chennai-based Vitalic Health Pvt. Ltd and its subsidiary have bought a large stake in online pharmacy company Netmeds. According to the information, the company has bought this stake for about Rs 620 crore. After this, the company's stock opened on the edge today. At 9.19 am, it was trading at a level of 2,144.85 with a gain of 26.30 points (1.24 per cent). Whereas it closed at 2,118.55 level on the previous trading day.
State of heavy stock
Talking about the big stocks, shares of ICICI Bank, Wipro, L&T, Tata Motors, HDFC Life, Hero MotoCorp, Adani Ports and Bharti Airtel opened on the green mark today. At the same time, Zee Limited, Tata Steel, HCL Tech, Nestle India and Hindustan Unilever opened on the red mark.

If we look at the sectoral index, then all sectors started on the green mark today. These include auto, FMCG, PSU bank, realty, pharma, media, IT, metal, finance services, banks and private banks.

The stock market was on edge during the pre-open. At 9.13 am, the Sensex was at a level of 38727.89 after gaining 199.57 points, or 0.52 per cent. The Nifty was at 66.80 points, or 0.59 per cent, at 11452.15.

The stock market closed on a strong rise on the previous trading day. The Sensex was up 477.54 points at 38528.32, up 1.26 percent. At the same time, the Nifty was up 1.23 percent with a gain of 138.25 points at 11385.35.

The stock market opened marginally on Tuesday. The Sensex opened 36.76 points, or 0.10 percent higher, at 38087.54, and the Nifty rose 0.20 percent or 22 points to 11269.10.
