In northwest Pakistan, five children of the same family died on Friday after drowning in a pond. The incident took place in the Shekhan region of Kohat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The mother of the children, along with four daughters and a son, went to the laundry pond. Police said the two children were swimming in the pond but accidentally went into deep water.
Seeing this, the three children standing outside went into the water to save them but they all drowned. These children are between 10 and 12 years of age. The bodies of the children have been taken out of the pond.
