America's first black President Obama was giving a digital address at the Democratic National Conference on Wednesday. Kamala Harris was formally elected to the post of Vice President in this conference. Harris became the first black and female of South Asian descent to become a vice presidential candidate from a major party. Joe Biden has chosen him as his running mate. Biden is the presidential candidate from the Democratic Party this time.
Obama, meanwhile, said that Biden and Harris have the necessary experience and sound policies to do things. With this, they can make their vision of a better, transparent and strong country a reality. During this time he did not miss any opportunity to sarcasm on the trump. Obama said, “After being elected president, I hoped that Trump might show some interest in doing this work seriously.” But, he never did that.
The former president said, 'It is going to be about four years and he (Trump) has shown no interest in working and finding a common ground. He never used his strength to help anyone other than to help himself and his friends. He did not take his presidency seriously and looked like a reality show, which he used to attract people as he always wanted. '
Obama said, 'Joe Biden made me a better president. I am asking you to trust the merits of him and Kamla Harris to help us build a better country. Most importantly, I am asking you to trust in yourself and support them in this election and in the coming times. Barack Obama believes that Joe Biden is the leader that America needs right now.
