Earlier, a third militant was also shot dead by security forces on Tuesday, the second day in an encounter that lasted for more than 30 hours in Kriri in Pattan area of North Kashmir's Baramulla district. Security forces blew up the terrorist hideout at the site of the encounter with an IED.
Meanwhile, another army soldier injured in the encounter died in the hospital on Tuesday. A total of 5 soldiers were killed in the attack and encounter on security forces by the terrorists on Monday.
