The stars of the film industry have also made preparations for the Ganpati festival this year. Actress Manushi Chillar, who is going to debut with Akshay Kumar's upcoming film Prithviraj Chauhan, is thrilled to be setting up Ganpati at her home for the first time this year. On the other hand, Shilpa Shetty will celebrate this year by keeping it limited with family members.
The 23-year-old former Miss World is originally from Haryana, but now Mumbai is also her home and she wants to celebrate Ganesh at her home with her entire family. She says, 'My parents always wanted me to experience different cultures and celebrate them'.
Manushi said, 'I am from Haryana, but Mumbai is also my home. I was thrilled when I first experienced the Ganpati Festival in the city. The energy, love and passion with which people celebrate Ganapati in Maharashtra is truly special. '
Manushi is thrilled about the establishment
He further said, 'Seeing the festival here, I also wanted to worship Ganesh and I decided to establish Ganapati at that time. I remember that I told my parents that I wanted to do Ganpati Puja at home and they immediately said yes. I was thrilled by this.
'I am keeping Ganpati at my house and this is the first year and I could not be happier than this. This is a very special moment for me and I will pray for the peace and prosperity of all. '
Will establish eco-friendly Ganpati
According to Manushi, 'The idol that Ganapathi is keeping is eco-friendly. Seed has been poured into the idol and therefore I will immerse it in the pot of clay at home itself. I want to take good care of the seeds, so that it sprouts. '
He further said, 'Celebrating festivals is very important, because it brings people and cultures closer. Also, if we can celebrate in an environmentally friendly way, then we will also contribute towards the conservation of nature. '
Shilpa Shetty will not do installation on the ground floor
On the other hand, Shilpa Shetty said about the establishment of Ganapati, 'This year due to the impact of the Kovid-19 epidemic, this celebration is going to be a limited affair with the family. Every year we used to bring Bappa to the ground floor, but this time we will bring him to the upper floor, because this time outsiders will not come, only the family members will be present.
Samisha will also have Annaprashan
He said, 'We will do Satyanarayana Puja this time, will eat satvik food, food will be cooked at home. On the 22nd, I will feed my daughter Samisha my first 'grain' (concrete). This is called ‘Annaprashan’. Even if it is less important, it will still be very special. '
God bless all
Shilpa said, 'I think this epidemic has made all of us realize a lot of things, the most important thing is the difference between necessity and luxury. This health crisis cannot be taken lightly. Therefore the norms of following social distance should not be abolished. '
In the last, he said, 'Here is the hope that Lord Ganpati will shower his blessings on all of us and remove all worries.'
