The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an advisory for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2020 to be held in September. In the protocol issued by the agency, it was ensured that about 15 lakh students can take the exam by following social distancing.
Process of exam will be touch free
In the guidelines issued, the exam is divided into three parts before the examination, during the examination and at the end of the examination. The entire examination process will be touch free to prevent infection. Candidates will be given time slots for reporting to prevent congestion at the simultaneous lot at the exam center. Also, the temperature of all staff members and candidates will also be examined. During this time, if someone shows signs of coronavirus, then they are kept in a separate isolation room.
Temperature check will be twice
On reaching the examination center, one student will be called after the other leaves. Apart from this, other documents will be examined. Admit card, government photo identity card etc. will have to be shown in it. This entire process will take 15 to 20 minutes. During this time no documents of the candidates will be touched. After this, the temperature of the student will be checked again. At the same time, the students will be told the room number and seat when the investigation process is complete.
Keep these things in mind, candidates
Teachers will not walk in the room
In view of social distancing, invigilators will not be able to move among the students inside the exam hall. He will sit and monitor from a distance. Apart from this, only 50 percent of the workers will be present in the class. Before taking any kind of help from the invigilator or teacher while on duty, the student has to sanitize his hands and follow social distancing.
