Petition in Supreme Court to Refrain Bihar Election till the State is Declared Covid 19 and Flood Free – Petition to Supreme Court, Kovid-19 and demand to postpone Bihar elections till flood-free

A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking to postpone the likely Bihar assembly elections in October-November this year. In this petition, the apex court has been directed to direct the Election Commission to postpone the election till the state is freed from Kovid-19 and floods.

Let me tell you that Bihar is also facing the global disaster of corona virus as well as flood disaster. In the past, the opposition was repeatedly demanding to hold elections. But, Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora had put a stop to all these apprehensions that elections in Bihar would be held on time.

Along with this, the Election Commission has also issued guidelines regarding elections during the epidemic today i.e. Friday. In these, the process of conducting elections has been prepared keeping in view the impact of the epidemic and the health of the people is not affected. Many changes have been made during this period, from voting to campaigning.
