Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi said on Friday that India would be among the countries producing the corona virus vaccine and the government should now work to ensure the availability of this vaccine, affordable prices and fair distribution.

He tweeted that “India will be one of the countries producing the Kovid-19 vaccine.” As such, a clearly defined, inclusive strategy is needed to ensure that the vaccine is available and dispensed appropriately and that it is affordable as well. “

The Congress leader said that the government should do it now. It is worth noting that in many countries of the world and in India, the corona virus vaccine is being tested in some places.

Meanwhile, 64,553 new cases of Corona virus infection were reported in the country on Friday, taking the total number to 24,61,190 and the death toll has reached 48,040 with 1,007 deaths.
