- Deepika Padukone and Ekta Kapoor have campaigned for mental health awareness after Sushant's death.
Vishal Kirti, brother-in-law of Sushant Singh Rajput, has warned those using the actor's name and face for mental health awareness. According to him, if anyone is found to be doing so, legal action will be taken against him. Actually, when Sushant died, actress Deepika Padukone started an awareness campaign for depression and mental health instead of paying tribute to him. Recently, producer Ekta Kapoor also started a campaign for the OTT platform G-5 called 'Pritha Rishta Mental Awareness Fund', in whose poster the photo of Sushant was used.
What is the warning of Sushant's brother-in-law
Vishal Kirti wrote on Twitter- Shweta Singh Kirti (wife) and I do not support any commercialization in the name of Sushant. If people are doing anything using Sushant's name, then he should not be motivated by profit. The family has not supported any profit-driven activity in the name of Sushant.
For any non-profit activity of Sushant, first get written permission from his father, so that no later litigation is faced. Do not use Sushant as a poster boy for mental health awareness. If the family felt that it was done by an organization or an individual, they would take legal action.

Ekta Kapoor has given clarification
Ekta Kapoor was trolled on social media after the launch of the campaign 'Pavitra Rishta Mental Awareness Fund'. He was accused of using the actor's death to earn money. Later, Ekta tweeted and cleared the campaign.
Ekta wrote- This fund was not started by me. Rather, Jee had started it, which was a necessary step. I always stand with G for any fund, but respectfully separate myself from this fund. I will continue to support any cause related to mental health. But I separate myself from the sacred relationship fund. Because the investigation is still going on and the picture of Sushant's unfortunate death is yet to be cleared. Like others, I also want the truth to be revealed.
Even though this is not a fund started by me, but started by Zee and is a needed one at that, I am always with Zee for any other mental awareness fund that they want to do, but on this one I would like to respectfully dissociate myself. #SSR Hope the truth prevails. pic.twitter.com/XGjiVEUZ1t
