- National Testing Agency will release September exam results till September 11
- JEE Main 2020 merit will come from the best score of January and September exam on this day.
- Top two and a half million students of merit will participate in the JEE Advanced for admission to IIT
On the same day, the merit list of JEE Main 2020 will be released on the basis of the best score of both exams held in January and September of JEE Main. Out of this merit list, the top two and a half million students will appear in the JEE Advanced Examination for admission to IITs. Whereas, with this merit, engineering colleges across the country will be enrolled in graduates ie B.Tech and BE programs.
The National Testing Agency organized JEE across the country from September 1 to 6. Kovid-19 conducted the exam in 660 examination centers under special standards for prevention and protection from infection. 8.58 lakh students had registered for the exam.
First three days attendance up to 85%
The attendance of students has been up to 85 per cent till the first day of JEE. While the last two days there was a slight decline in the attendance of the students. However, the attendance of students in the examination conducted in two shifts from September 1 to 6 has been between 75 and 85 percent.
Neat examinees can get free travel in metro
Neet preparations have started to be held on September 13 for admission to MBBS and BDS programs in medical colleges. NTA has again written to the states for NEET. According to the sources, students participating in the NEET of NCR including Delhi can get a chance to travel free in the Delhi Metro.
However, the government and the metro have not finalized it yet. But there is a plan to give this exemption under public transport to make the students easily reach the center.
