“We support the United Nations' call to strengthen shared responsibility, global solidarity and multilateral cooperation in response to Kovid's multidimensional effects,” the ASEM statement said. We particularly support the importance of the World Health Organization (WHO) in coordinating the health response to the epidemic. The statement said that ASEAN fully welcomes the 73rd World Health Assembly resolution regarding Kovid-19.
The statement said, 'We will work together to pursue global actions for epidemic socioeconomic reforms based on the Paris Agreement and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Objectives. We will cooperate together on the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change COP26 (COP26). Explain that ASEM is an inter-governmental process established in 1996 to promote dialogue and cooperation between Asia and Europe.
