According to reports, there are about two dozen seats in the state, on which there is a situation of confrontation between the two parties. After the defections by the leaders, there has also been increased concern over the seat-sharing in the parties. On the other hand, Chirag has said many times that he will contest elections on 143 of the 243 assembly seats in the state. However, he has not yet taken any major decision in this regard.
Keeping all these things in mind, Chirag called a meeting of key party leaders. After the meeting, party leader Rajkumar Raj said, 'No decision has been taken yet on the seat sharing and neither has decided who will contest from which seat. When we reach a final decision, we will let everyone know.
