Rijiju said the People's Liberation Army (PLA) of China has responded to a hotline message sent by the Indian Army. He has been confirmed that Arunachal's missing Yuna has been found on his side. The process of bringing them back is being worked out. The youth went missing from Upper Subansiri district of the state on Friday.
Until now, there were speculations that these civilians had been kidnapped by the Chinese army. Earlier on Monday, China denied information about the abduction of the five Indians. China had said that it had no information about the Indian Army sending a message about it.
According to the villagers, these youths served as porter for the Indian Army, which carried goods in inaccessible areas. A police team was sent to the border area adjacent to the McMahon Line (India-China Border Line) to investigate the case of the kidnapping of these youths.
