On Monday evening, about 50 soldiers of the Chinese Army (People's Liberation Army) came aggressively towards the Indian post near Mukhapari peak, north of Rejang La. The Chinese troops tried to remove Indian troops from Mukhpari peak and Rejang La areas. The pictures in the media clearly show that Chinese soldiers were carrying pointed rods and spears. He also did 10–15 rounds of aerial firing to provoke Indian troops.
China accused India only, army responded
After this incident on Monday evening, China accused the Indian soldiers. China said that Indian troops had crossed the border. The Indian Army issued a statement on this lie on Tuesday. The army said that the Chinese military is doing provocative activities to move forward. The army bluntly said that they want peace and stability in the area. However we are also determined to protect national integrity and sovereignty at all costs.
The Indian Army said, “China is trying to mislead people both domestically and internationally. India is fully committed to repel forces and normalize the situation peacefully along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). At the same time, China is doing stimulating activities to move forward. At no stage did the Indian Army cross the LAC nor resort to any offensive means including firing.
The Army said, 'In the immediate case on September 7, the People's Liberation Army (PLA) troops of China tried to get closer to our forward position on the LAC. When his fellow soldiers stopped him, he fired in the air to provoke the Indian soldiers. ' The Indian Army said, “It is the PLA which is grossly violating the agreements and carrying out aggressive maneuvers.” Our soldiers behaved in a restrained and responsible manner.
What happened on 15 June in Galvan valley of eastern Ladakh
Earlier on the night of 14 and 15 June, there were violent clashes between the soldiers of both the countries. The skirmish took place during the retreating forces. In this, 20 soldiers of India were martyred. During this time China was also harmed, but it did not share its information. However, the US intelligence report stated that at least 35 Chinese soldiers were killed in the clash. Tensions between the two countries had increased manifold since the incident.
