Listen to the news
A strange situation has arisen in front of the Congress, which is involved in the Mahavikas Aghadi government of Maharashtra. State Congress leaders are unhappy over the beating of the former naval officer amid the Shiv Sena dispute with Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut. But in the compulsion of coalition, their mouths are closed. But inside the Congress leaders are unconcerned. They are beginning to worry that the matter should not be drowned by the Congress in Maharashtra.
The Congress is on the back foot in the case of Kangana Ranaut's office being broken and the beating of former Naval officer Madan Sharma. A senior Congress leader and former minister says that Chief Minister Thackeray does not talk to ministers quickly. In the current situation, experienced Congress ministers can support a lot. Therefore, Congress is not able to do anything even while in power. If Rahul Gandhi were the president of the party, then the status of Congress in Maharashtra would have been different.
Leaders are also upset with Raut's statement that he broke the Babri Masjid
Congress leaders are also angry with Shiv Sena spokesperson Sanjay Raut's statement that he broke the Babri Masjid. Kangna had tweeted that the Shiv Sena was called Babar Sena when the office was broken. After this Sanjay Raut had said that those who call Shiv Sena Babur Sena should know that we are the same people who broke the Babri Masjid. Now Muslim leaders of the Congress say that when the Shiv Sena leaders say this to the forum tomorrow, what will the Congress reply.
Congress is also discriminated against departmental funds
In the Mahavikas Aghadi government, the Congress is ranked third. Therefore, discrimination has come to the fore about departmental funds. A two-day monsoon session of the state legislature was held recently. A supplementary demand of 29 thousand 84 crores was approved in the session. But it showed favor to the departments comprising ministers of Shiv Sena and NCP. On this, the Congress leaders say that they have got portfolios of lesser importance anyway. In such a situation, where will they get attention?
Sanjay Nirupam is the only outspoken leader against Shiv Sena
Sanjay Nirupam is the only leader in Maharashtra who is vocal against the Shiv Sena and Uddhav Thackeray government. He had also reacted sharply to the demolition of the Sushant Singh Rajput death to Kangana's office. He has even called Shiv Sena as a goon party. But other leaders of the party are either seen playing dhupali in support of the Uddhav government or remain silent.
