The Delhi government has informed that on Tuesday, 10398 RT-PCR tests and 52271 rapid antigen tests were done. So far, a total of 22,46,985 investigations of the corona virus have been done in the capital. A total of 62669 investigations have been conducted in Delhi on Tuesday.
The positivity rate in Delhi is 10.05 percent. While the death rate is 2.13 percent. The total number of containment zones in the capital is now 1560. A total of 16576 patients are in home isolation in Delhi.
AIIMS doctor dies of corona, 27 health workers have lost their lives so far
A doctor at AIIMS Hospital died of corona infection on Monday morning. He was ill for the last two months. Doctor Vikas Solanki (25) from Hisar started MBBS in 2012 in AIIMS. He was doing an internship after completing his studies.
AIIMS doctor Amarinder Singh said that 2 months ago, he had contracted the infection. His health had worsened since he was infected. Due to this, he had to put on ventilator support. He was on ventilator for the last month and a half.
He told that Doctor Vikas had secured first position in the entrance examination of AIIMS. So far 27 health workers have lost their lives due to corona infection in the capital. These include six doctors.
