Chargesheets have been filed against the accused under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) and various sections of the IPC. The chargesheet of more than 10 thousand pages has the names of 747 witnesses. Out of these, 51 witnesses have recorded their statements before the magistrate. The case is still under investigation and a supplementary charge sheet will be filed in due course of time.
Delhi Police's Special Cell before Additional Sessions Judge Amitabh Rawat of Karkardooma district court said, CDR and WhatsApp chat have been included in the investigation. The charge sheet gives details of the conspiracy of riots and important incidents. The police have cited the WhatsApp chat of February 24 during the riots in Seelampur and Zafarabad areas as evidence. The conspirators were inciting people on the scene to violence. The conspirators were directly in contact with the rioters.
25 WhatsApp groups for 25 pickets
According to police, there were 25 pickets in 25 cities against CAA and NRC. 25 WhatsApp groups were created for each city. From this, an attempt was made to show that these are anti-CAA groups, but through these people were encouraged. Riots between 23 and 26 February killed 53 people, while more than 200 were injured.

Tahir Hussain with Mohammad Parvez Ahmed, Mohammad Ilyas, Khalid Saifi, former councilor Ishrat Jahan, Miran Haider, Safura Zargar, Asif Iqbal Tanha, Shadab Ahmed, Natasha Narwal, Devangana Kalita, Taslim Ahmed, Salim Malik, Mohammad Salim Khan And Athar Khan is nominated.
Tahir met Umar Khalid
According to the chargesheet, Tahir met Umar Khalid and Khalid Saifi on 8 January in the Shaheen Bagh dharna. After this, a meeting was also held in the Jamia office of the Popular Front of India (PFI). Khalid Saifi instigated Tahir. Omar Khalid assured to provide help from PFI.
