Releasing the statement, the army said, “India is committed to repel forces on LAC and normalize the situation.” At the same time, China is doing stimulating activities to move forward. At no stage did the Indian Army cross the LAC nor resort to any offensive means including firing.
The Army said, 'In the immediate case on September 7, the People's Liberation Army (PLA) troops of China tried to get closer to our forward position on the LAC. When his fellow soldiers stopped him, he fired air to provoke the Indian Army. '
