According to the instructions issued by the ministry, courses (practical and theory) will be completed in all 15 thousand ITIs from September 21 to November. After this, when the corona conditions recover, there will be an annual examination till the first and second week of November.
There are 26 lakh students in ITI, so under social distance rules in defense of Corona, now classrooms running in shifts and labs will have ten students instead of 30. The government has instructed all the 15,000 ITIs through the states that if there are still quarantine centers in any campus, then they will start studying at some other place without any delay or fees.
Examination of first year in December after completion of second year course
Eighty percent of ITI students have completed the theory course online. Although not practical. Therefore, first year second year students will have classes and exams. After that the exam for the first year students will be held in December.
After checking the system for two weeks all the courses will start
ITIs are undoubtedly opening from 21, but states will have to check and monitor the entire system for two weeks. If all goes well, then they can plan to call all the students of the course.
