On Tuesday, a Pakistani intruder was killed by BSF personnel close to the LoC in Uri sector of North Kashmir's border district Baramulla. When the soldiers challenged, he threw away some documents and started running away. He was targeted and killed.
At around 2.15 pm on Tuesday, at the forward post supervised by the BSF's 70th Battalion near LoC at Dulanja, the sentry saw suspicious movements of a person across the fence.
When the sentry challenged that person, he hid behind a tree. On this, he was asked to raise his hand and come forward. Warned that he would be shot if he did not come forward.
According to the officer, the person came close to the fence and threw some documents across it. When he was asked to undress for the search, he ran away. After repeated warnings, he did not stop, then he was fired.
At this he fell to the ground. Police said that the documents thrown by him were being investigated. Also, the identity of the person is also being tried.
