The capital police has also tightened the law against Bahubali Mukhtar Ansari and his two sons. Apart from preparing a B warrant for Mukhtar Ansari, who is lodged in Ropar Jail in Punjab, the police has also announced a reward of Rs 25 thousand 6 each on his two sons Umar and Abbas.
Commissioner of Police Sujit Pandey said that Mukhtar's warrant and reward for his two sons have been taken in the case of illegal construction on government land in Dalibagh, Hazratganj.
The police commissioner said that an FIR has been lodged against Mukhtar and his elder son Abbas and younger son Umar for constructing two towers by occupying the evacuated land in Dalibagh colony of Hazratganj. Both the towers were demolished by the LDA squad on 27 August.
In this case, Jiyamau Lekhpal Surjan Lal filed a case against Mukhtar Ansari and his sons Umar and Abbas in Hazratganj Kotwali for forgery, conspiracy, illegal possession of land. Surjan Lal's allegation was that the land on which Mukhtar's sons had built towers was Mo. Wasim's.
Abbas Ansari is a national shooter and a criminal FIR was registered against him on October 12, 2019 in the Mahanagar Kotwali in the arms license case. The said case was investigated by STF.
After the FIR, a Lucknow police team searched the rented house of Abbas in Basantkunj, Delhi, where he had met realities from Italy to Austria. Abbas is alleged to have transferred his arms license to Delhi's address without DM's permission and bought five more articles there.
At present, Abbas and Umar are also expected to be arrested soon after the reward is announced. Raghavendra Mishra, ACP of Hazratganj says that Mukhtar's B warrant is ready. Further action will be taken as per court order.
