Morey said an ambulance was sought near the vehicle depot of the municipality to remove the body from the hospital, but even after repeated calls, it took more than three and a half hours to get the ambulance. He then smashed the glass of an officer's car in anger and shattered it.

When asked on this matter, Morey said that if people are not getting an ambulance in Pune, then the officers have no right to take them in vehicles.
