According to the NIA, the Government of India has ordered attachment of properties located in Amritsar of Pannu and Jalandhar in Nijjar under Section 51-A of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) (UAPA) Act. Pannu's land is in Khankot and Sultanwind suburban Bhabhaniwal of Amritsar. At the same time, Nijjar's land is in village Bhar Singhpura, Phillaur in Jalandhar district.
In July this year, Pannu and Nijjar along with seven others were declared terrorists under UAPA. The SFJ and the Khalistan Tiger Force are both separatist Khalistani organizations. The NIA is investigating a case related to the campaign launched by the SFJ under the banner of 'Sikh Referendum 2020'.
Terrorist Pannu's land is on contract
Bikramjit Singh, a farmer who has contracted the land of 46 kanals of Khankot village of terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, said that he has never met Pannu. Pannu's mother used to pay the amount of the land contract earlier. After his death, I deposit the money to his brother Mangwant Singh.
According to villagers, Pannu's family left the village many years ago and moved to Chandigarh. So neither did he ever see Pannu, nor did he ever meet him. The land of 11 kanals of Pannu in Sultanwind village of 13 and a half marle is also reported to a contractor.
