The government had to issue a clarification after a day on a circular directing all ministries and departments to reduce expenses. Because, in the circular issued on Friday, it was also said that no new posts will be created in any department. When the Congress raised questions on the government, the Finance Ministry said on Saturday that there was no restriction on filling the vacant posts. Normal recruitment process will be carried out through agencies like SSC, UPSC and Railway Recruitment.
