Finance Minister Manish Sisodia has consistently raised demands from the Center in this regard. It is believed that the government can also discuss this issue in the House. Earlier, the meeting of the house was called in March regarding the budget proposal of the Delhi government. In this, the government had set a budget of 65 thousand crores for the capital.
Keeping in mind the Corona transition, there will also be a change in the seating arrangement in the house. There will be fixed seats for prominent people like Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister in the House. Remaining legislators will be seated leaving one seat each. The corona test of all legislators will be mandatory before entering the house. For this, corona test can be done 48 hours before entering the assembly. Apart from this, arrangements were also made to conduct corona test for MLAs in the Legislative Assembly.
Testing made weapon
On Sunday, 29 people have died and 4235 new cases have been reported due to corona in the capital. But the high number of corona victims is also coming due to more testing. Delhi had targeted to take 40 thousand Tests in a day, but on Sunday it has made a record 56656 Tests. Delhi has done a record one lakh 12 thousand 601 tests per one million population. A total of 21 lakh 39 thousand 432 tests have been done so far.
Corona has a positive rate of 7.48% in the capital. The number of deaths in the last ten days has been 0.68 percent. The government is moving ahead with the goal of reducing it further.
