What is hypersonic technology demonstrator vehicle
The first test of hypersonic technology in India was done in 2019. This technology will be used to build hypersonic cruise missiles and launch satellines at very low cost. It will also be used as a vehicle for hypersonic and long-range cruise missiles.
The Hypersonic Technology Demonstrator Vehicle is part of India's ambitious program to develop a hypersonic cruise missile system. India has come under the category of select countries where this technology is used. Currently, the US, Russia and China have this technology.
