The family of Sudiksha Bhati, a student killed in a road accident in Bulandshahar, met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow today. He was accompanied by Dadri MLA Tejpal Nagar and Rajya Sabha MP Surendra Nagar.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath got information about Sudiksha and the functioning of the family in a conversation with family members. He assured all possible help and consoled them, calling Sudiksha's death an irreparable loss to the country and society.
He said that she was the daughter of the nation, the daughter of the society. Everyone is sad for the daughter's departure, but act courageously. We are all together. He instructed that an inspirational site and library will be built in the name of Sudiksha so that the children of the area can get inspiration to go ahead and study.
He also instructed the officials to provide financial help to the family. 15 lakh rupees will be given to Sudiksha's family from the government and five lakh MPs from Surendra Nagar.
Sudiksha's mother and father said after the meeting that the Chief Minister listened to her and agreed to do whatever in the name of Sudiksha, it is a matter of satisfaction for us.
Let us tell you that Sudiksha, who studied at Bobson College in America, died after falling from a bike in Aurangabad, Bulandshahr on 10 August. The incident caught fire after allegations of Sudiksha's death by the actions of the people. However the Bulandshahr police administration denied the molestation incident. There was a demand in the country and abroad for justice for the families of Sudiksha.
This case was prominently raised by 'Tech for FTCP'. The people of the area had declared a mahapanchayat, but the mahapanchayat was canceled after Rajya Sabha MP and BJP state vice-president Surendra Nagar assured of help from the Chief Minister.
