The company has also given notice to China's App Snack Video, which is operational in India and a lawsuit has been filed against the short-video app Roposo. When contacted, the Ira Law Firm appointed by T-Series confirmed the issuance of notice to these platforms. Ira Law partner Gitanjali Vishwanathan said that the named video app has been given a legal notice and a lawsuit has been filed against Roposo.
In response to an e-mail question, Speak Indya said that it does not offer audio and video library as a feature for users. Therefore, there is no basis for infringement of copyright rights of music. Triller declined to comment on the matter and other companies have not yet responded to a question in this regard.
