Will make short videos
YouTube said in a blog post that YouTube has been working on the Shorts video app for a long time. But, now the company has launched it officially. According to the report, this service will be available to Indian users first. Like Tiktok, short videos can be made on this short platform of YouTube. Also by editing these, you can add Youtube licensed songs. YouTube said that it will add more features to the app in the coming months as well as add users to other countries.
On 29 June, 59 Chinese apps were banned by the Indian government, including Tikkok. Rapposo, Chingari, Josh (Dailyhunt) and Moj (Sharechat) have been launched in India since Bain. Just as the option to select audio and song is given in TikTok, the biggest feature in YouTube shorts will be that licensed songs will already be present in this list.
Tiktok's 200 million users in India
Tick Talk was a very popular short video app in India. This video app had around 200 million users in India. At the same time, Youtube has 308 million active users in India. Earlier, the Reels feature of Instagram was brought in the competition of Tiktok from Facebook. However, the Reels feature of Instagram also could not become popular in India like Tiktok.
