According to a senior health department official, the same rules will be followed in the survey conducted by the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC). This time samples of 15,564 people will be taken from all 11 districts. The results of the survey are expected by October 23. People whose samples were taken earlier in the survey will not be sampled this time. This will only include those with no symptoms. It will go to people of different ages and areas.
Earlier, this survey was done between September 1 and 7, in which about 25 percent people were found affected by Kovid-19. That is, about a quarter of people had developed antibodies. However, experts were hoping that in the third survey about 35 percent people would get antibodies, but this did not happen.
This time also less chances of getting antibodies in people
According to experts, antibodies are likely to be found in fewer people this time too. According to AIIMS doctor Vikram, most people in Delhi have been infected long ago. Many of the people whose samples will be taken in this survey have lost their antibodies by now.
