Appointment Committee of Cabinet Approved Several Appointments of Officers – Cabinet Committee has approved the appointment of many officers, see full list here

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Tuesday allowed the appointment of several officers to the posts of Joint Secretary and its equivalent. According to a notification issued in this regard, Veena Kumari has been appointed as the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Mining. His term will be five years.

Along with this, IAS officer Naresh Pal Gangwar has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. His tenure has also been fixed for five years. IAS officer Priyank Bharti has been made the senior directing staff of National Defense College, Department of Defense.

Amit Varadan has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. At the same time, IAS officer Vishal Chauhan has been given the responsibility of Joint Secretary in Health and Family Welfare Department. According to the notification, the tenure of these two officers will also be for five years.

At the same time, IAS officer Sunil Kumar Barnwal has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Union Home Ministry. IAS Atul Singh, Additional Secretary in Central Awareness Commission has been appointed as Joint Secretary of Sports Department. Both these officers will also serve in these posts for five years.
