Contested 70 seats, won 19
The Congress contested from 70 seats in Bihar this time but won only 19 seats, whereas in the 2015 elections the Congress won 25 seats. In such a situation, the Grand Alliance had to bear the brunt of this poor performance and was deprived of forming the government. Tejashwi Yadav could not become the Chief Minister with just a margin of 0.03 per cent votes.
We must accept the truth. Due to the weak performance of the Congress, Bihar is left out of the Grand Alliance government. The Congress must think on the subject that where it missed it? MIM's entry into Bihar is not auspicious sign.

State Congress president should take responsibility
Rishi Mishra, who was a Congress contender from the Jale Assembly constituency of Darbhanga, said that Tejashwi Yadav could not become the Chief Minister due to the poor performance of the Congress. He said that the state president of the party Madan Mohan Jha himself does politics of Mithilanchal, but the Congress has not won a single election on 30 seats there.
In such a situation, he should take the responsibility of defeat from Mithilanchal. Explain that Congress had given ticket to Mashkur Ahmad Usmani instead of Mishra from Jale seat. After the Jinnah connection of Mashkur, the leaders of the ruling party were constantly questioning the Congress. Jibesh Kumar of BJP has won elections from the district.
