Needless to say that there has been an absolutely glitch-free counting process so far. Slightly more than 1 crore votes have been counted in Bihar which means that there is significant ground to be covered yet: Election Commission of India (ECI)#BiharElectionResults pic.twitter.com/mG13qpFbjJ

The commission said the counting of votes is not going on slowly. It is delayed because of Corona.
The Commission official said, as per law, by 8 am today all the postal ballots had been received for counting. This means that the postal ballots received till 8 am at the counting centers were counted today. The data related to this will be available at the level of the concerned returning officer.
Deputy Election Commissioner Sudeep Jain said, it has been clarified many times that EVMs cannot be tampered with. The Supreme Court has upheld the integrity of EVMs more than once. The Commission also filed a claim in 2017 to challenge EVMs. There is no doubt about the integrity of EVMs and there is no further clarity to offer.
