Ayodhya is likely to receive many Diwali gifts including the international airport when Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrives here on Friday to celebrate the grand festival. More than a dozen development projects are expected to be announced. The river Saryu will be decorated with 5.51 lakh lamps.
Artists disguised as Lord Rama, Goddess Sita and Lakshman will descend to the coast in 'Pushpak Vimana' and will be received by Governor Anandi Ben Patel and Chief Minister. The helicopter is decorated with flowers to give the appearance of an aircraft.
The ceremony will begin on Friday afternoon, while Lord Ram's tableau from Saket College in Ayodhya will reach the coast after a five-kilometer route. The tableau will have amazing performances such as Gurukul Shiksha, Ram-Sita Vivah, Kewat episode, Ram Darbar, Sabari Ram Milap and Lanka Dahan. When there will be a grand aarti in the Saryu river at sunset, then 11000 diyas will also be lit at the upcoming Ram temple construction site.
Additional Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Avnish Awasthi said that the Chief Minister can talk about the current development projects along with announcing new projects. He said that a lot will happen in Ayodhya on Friday. The Chief Minister can dedicate some projects for Ayodhya and its people, among them modern sewage treatment plant so that the river flow and sanitation are maintained.
In this Tirthanagar, Ramlila Center will be built with a cost of Rs. 3.47 crore, Bhajan site at a cost of Rs. 19.02 crore, Rani Heo Memorial Park at a cost of Rs. 21.92 crore, Ramkatha Vithika at a cost of Rs. 7.59 crore.
