The Major, posted in 38 RR of Dera Ki Gali (DKG) of Thannamandi, Rajori, Jammu and Kashmir, died of a bullet in the head under suspicious circumstances. The police completed the other formalities after the post-mortem and handed them over to the army.

According to police, on Sunday night, Company Commander Major Vineet Gulia went to sleep in his room. When his orderly came to wake him up at around 6 am on Monday morning, the room was closed. When he broke the door, the Major was soaked in blood.

He had an AK-47. Immediate notice was given to the police. Major was taken to the hospital. Where doctors brought him dead. It is being told that Major Vineet, a resident of Jhajjar, Haryana, was married 2 months ago.

He returned on September 29 after a holiday. Meanwhile, Major was not seen in any kind of confusion or trouble and he was also doing his work properly. It is being told that Major also had a very good relationship with the local people and people respected him very much.
