On Friday, on the occasion of the fifth Ayurveda Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the Ayurveda Institutes – Ayurveda Teaching and Research Institute (ITRA) of Jamnagar in Gujarat and National Ayurveda Institute (NIA) of Jaipur to the nation. The Institute of Ayurveda Teaching and Research at Jamnagar has been conferred the status of Institute of National Importance (INI) through the law of the Parliament while the National Institute of Ayurveda at Jaipur has been conferred the status of an honorary university by the University Grants Commission. Today everything is integrating with the changing times
- In the country, our ancient medical knowledge is now being combined with the information received from the modern science of the 21st century, new research is being done. Three years ago, the All India Ayurvedic Institute was established here.
- With the changing times, everything is being integrated today. Health is no different. With this thinking, the country is taking one important step after another to integrate different methods of treatment. This thinking has made Ayush an important part of the health policy of the country.
- Today the Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda in Jamnagar, Gujarat has been recognized as the Institute of National Importance. Similarly, the National Ayurved Institute of Jaipur has been launched today as a deemed university.
