Such a huge amount was used to pay the middlemen and suspected officials involved in the deal.
When asked about Kamal Nath in this regard, he said, “I have already said that I have nothing to do with my nephew Ratul Puri's companies or his transactions.” As far as my son Bakul Nath is concerned, he is an NRI based in Dubai. I had heard of him being told to be the beneficial owner of the Pristine River and when I spoke to my son, he said that he knew nothing about the company.
Kamal Nath said, there are no documents or bank accounts for my son's involvement with the case. Anyone can open a foreign account without informing anyone and name someone as beneficial owner. He may not even know about it.
