In the 20th meeting of the SCO countries' heads of state, the member countries will talk about enhancing cooperation in important areas of regional security, counter-insurgency action, economic, humanitarian cooperation. During this time 2021 can be declared as the cultural year of SCO countries.

India, Russia, China, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are. Iran, Afghanistan, Belarus and Mongolia are associated with the organization as Observers. At the same time, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Cambodia, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Turkey are members of SCO as dialogue partners.
