Reshu Ahmed, mother of twin sons, says – We had twin sons born on Dhanteras, so this day is special for us. There has been a tradition of communal harmony in India, which is why we have been celebrating the birth of both sons on Dhanteras from date to date.
The Gita and the idols of God along with the Quran at home
The family says that we have the Gita with the Quran in our house. Ganeshji, Lakshmi ji, Durga ji, Shankar ji and Durga are the photographs and idols of the mother. After worshiping at home on the night of Diwali, his family and our family together celebrates Diwali. Also perform fireworks.
Iqbal himself makes Rangoli outside the house
Reshu says- My husband Iqbal makes Rangoli himself for Diwali. I am responsible for making gujiya and other sweets. There is no discrimination in religion.
Place of worship made at home
Sisters Mannat and Saina told that we made a small place of worship in the house. Where there are pictures and idols of all the deities. The way we offer namaz, we also worship. For us both religions are the same.
