The car of Union Ayush Minister Shripad Naik (68) overturned in Ankola, Karnataka on Monday. According to reports, Vijaya Naik and PA, wife of Shripad Naik, have died in the accident. Naik has also been seriously injured in the accident.
On Monday night, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said, 'Union Minister Naik is now out of danger. His condition is stable. Two of his minor operations are scheduled to take place tonight. At the moment they do not need to shift to Delhi for treatment. Naik, originally from Goa, was going to Gokarna with his wife Vijaya. His driver lost control of the car between Yellapur to Gokarna. Naik's wife Vijaya and his PA died in the accident. Minister Shripad Naik and three other people were seriously injured. He is rushed to the hospital.

According to information, Shripad Naik and his wife went to Yellapur in North Karnataka on Monday morning. This incident happened while returning.
