After the ceremony, Lieutenant General Cllr again met Dakha Devi, many other officers also came to be photographed with him. During this time, the Lieutenant General saluted him. Havildar Rajeev, soldier Gurudev Singh, Major Deepak Kumar, soldier Pushkar, Vikas Kumar Dwivedi, Nagendra Udyagol, Arjun M and Major Deepak Kumar were awarded the Army Medal at the ceremony. Grenadier Hemraj Jat was awarded posthumously. Apart from these, special medals, distinguished service medals, unit citations were also given.
