Lalu Yadav Denies Bail: Lalu Yadav’s bail (Bail) petition was again rejected by the Jharkhand High Court in the Dumka case of fodder scam. Lalu Yadav could not get a bail due to less than two months in half sentence.
Ranchi RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav (Lalu Yadav), convicted in the Fodder Scam, has received a major setback. In the Dumka case, his bail petition was rejected by the Jharkhand High Court. Lalu Yadav could not get a bail due to less than two months in half sentence. With this, they will not be able to get out of jail at the moment.
The court of Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh dismissed Lalu Yadav’s bail plea after hearing arguments from both sides. Lalu Yadav’s bail was sought on the basis of deducting half the period of punishment in the case of illegal withdrawal from Dumka treasury. The CBI court sentenced him to 7 years in the case. During the last hearing, a claim was presented on behalf of Lalu Prasad that he has been in jail for more than 42 months. On this basis, they should get vine. But the CBI opposed it.
Earlier, the last hearing in the Jharkhand High Court was held on February 12 on the bail plea of Lalu Yadav. After the arguments of both sides in the High Court, the CBI had sought time from the court to submit the order sheet, considering that the High Court had fixed the next hearing on February 19.
Lalu Yadav’s advocates said that all the reports of the Lower Court were sought from the Jharkhand High Court, they had submitted all the reports in the court. But time is being deliberately extended by the CBI.
During the last hearing, the Jharkhand High Court had expressed displeasure over Lalu Prasad’s medical report not being presented and the show was coached by the RIMS director. The court said that Lalu Prasad was shifted to AIIMS for better treatment. But why this decision was taken, it will be known from the medical report itself. The court is constantly seeking medical reports from RIMS. But the report has not been submitted yet.
Let us know that former Chief Minister Lalu Yadav, who is serving a sentence in 4 cases of fodder scam, is suffering from more than 15 diseases. Therefore, he was being treated by shifting rims from Hotwar Jail in Ranchi. Recently, he was referred to Delhi AIIMS after complaining of breathlessness. Lalu Yadav is currently undergoing treatment at AIIMS. He has already got bail in three other cases of fodder scam.
