Churu News: Driving license of dead person, case filed against agent in Sadar police station

Churu Churu district transport department’s lapse or brokers’ department officials colluded with employees. Here the District Transport Officer (DTO) has issued the driving license of the deceased person. After the matter was exposed, the Transport Department officials were stirred and the District Transport Officer hurriedly canceled the fake license and registered a case against the youth and the agent who made the fake license at the Sadar police station.

Salim Khan, resident of ward number 44 of the city, with the help of agent Mehboob Khan got a license in the name of deceased person Gulab Nabi. The license was issued, but after the matter came to the notice of DTO Sanjeev Dalal, he canceled the license and got the case registered at Sadar police station. The police have registered a case against Salim Khan and agent Mehboob Khan and started investigation. It is a matter of investigation that how the name of the deceased person without testing drive finally came to be licensed.

This is not the first case in Churu DTO, but in 2013 the scam of benami vehicles has also come to light in Churu DTO office. After that a similar scam came to light in the year 2017 when Sadar police station police arrested the then accused DTO Ghasiram Meharda and senior clerk Balbir Singh in 2017. At that time, 2 such vehicles were found in the investigation of SOG in Gangster Anandpal case. Those who were registered in 2013. It was being used in criminal activities, when the SOG summoned the owners of the vehicles on the basis of the documents of the vehicles, they never came to buy any vehicle other than a bike.
