AIIMS director said – will have to change the vaccine
Director of Delhi AIIMS, Dr. Randeep Guleria has said that there is no need to panic with Corona’s new strain. Our vaccines are 70%, 80%, 90% effective. Even if there is a slight decrease in their effect, they will still work. This will definitely reduce serious illness and deaths from it.
However, Dr. Guleria said that we have to keep changing the vaccine according to the new variant of Corona. Now we need not to panic, but to keep a close watch on the situation and identify all the variants quickly. It is also to ensure that none of these variants become completely new and the vaccine fails.
