Amid military disengagement, India and China are now trying to normalize the situation through political channels. A meeting will soon take place between National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. According to the news agency, along with the withdrawal of the army from all tense areas, the undefined border can also be discussed in this meeting.

There was talk in June last year
The video call between Doval and Wang Yi was discussed on 5 July 2020 after a violent clash in Galvan on 5 June. It was stressed in the discussion that peace should be restored again and work together to prevent future incidents like Galvan. Foreign Minister S Jaishankar was also in constant touch with Beijing.

China creates positive atmosphere by withdrawing army from Pangong
According to the news agency, the senior officer told that the two sides can work together and move towards resolving differences on LAC. China has created a positive atmosphere by restoring the status quo on Pangong Tso. Now if the Chinese army tries to break the agreement, India will not negotiate any kind. There can be no dialogue on China’s pressure.

Depending on the attitude of Beijing
According to national security planners, it is up to China to create a positive environment to advance bilateral relations. India now has to respond to China’s steps. At the same time, the former army chief said that the relations between India and China will depend on the attitude of Beijing after disengagement in Pangong Tso. However, the withdrawal of the People’s Liberation Army has been accepted by the government sitting in New Delhi, which has indicated signs of a solution to the border dispute between the two countries.

10th round of talks continue
India-China military officers are holding a 10th round of meetings to end the ongoing tension over the LAC. In this conversation of Commander Level, disengagement is being discussed in Gogra, Hot Spring and Depsang. The meeting is taking place in the Moldo area on the Chinese side.

In the nine meetings held earlier, there was a discussion on disengagement in North-Southern Pagong Lake area of ​​East Ladakh. According to army sources, after disengagement, the armies of both countries have reached their respective permanent posts.

On June 15, 20 Indian soldiers were killed in the clash.
