The night school in the village started with a small effort by former IPS officer of the state, Arun Oraon. A night school is held in this Bal Parliament House of the village daily from 6 pm to 8 pm. So far, the number of students attending this school has exceeded 170. The school is not limited to this but 26 night schools are running daily till date in Ranchi-Gumla and Lohardaga districts. Teachers who distribute knowledge in the night school of about two thousand are educated young people from the village who neither take any salary nor any holiday.What do the villagers say

The people of Uchari village are seeing the bright future of their children in this night school run by Baba Karthik Oraon, the night school is educating the children as well as teaching them how to stay connected with their culture. Parents of the children are happy that their children are attending special classes without government help. Computer education has also been arranged in the night school.
