In Panipat, the second wife of a man ran away with her uncle’s boy. The husband somehow found the wife. Then asked him to walk home, but the wife insulted him in front of everyone. Hurt by the incident, he hanged himself and gave his life. Police is investigating the case.
Panipat. A laborer’s wife left the village of Kacharauli in Sadar police station area along with her immediate uncle’s son. Three days ago the husband went to take his wife along with other relatives, but the wife banished by insulting her. This hurt husband committed suicide by hanging himself at home on Thursday. The family has given a complaint against the wife and the accused in the Sadar police station.
Dharmendra, 35, of Kacharauli village used to work as a laborer. About two years ago, Dharmendra’s wife died due to TB disease. After about 6 months, Dharmendra got second marriage to Nita, a resident of Gharaunda, Karnal. On 12 February, after Dharmendra went to work, Nita left with her brother-in-law Pawan. Talking on the phone, it was found that both are in Kaithal, Pawan’s maternal uncle’s house. Dharmendra, along with his other relatives, reached Pawan’s maternal uncle’s house on 16 February. Family members said that Nita and maternal uncle gathered the people of the village and threatened to kill them by insulting them. After this, he came back.
On Wednesday night, Dharmendra again called Pawan and asked to return his wife, but he did not agree. On finding no solution, Dharmendra hanged himself at home on Thursday. His daughter Preeti informed the family after seeing her father hanging. Police reached the spot and took the body from the noose and brought it to the civil hospital for post mortem. On the complaint of the family, the police started an investigation by registering a case against the wife of the deceased, Dewar.
