Sumrai Tete was also the captain in 2006. His captaincy Asunta Lakra was also included. Simantega’s Asunta Lakda has also captained the Indian team in 2011-12. Currently, Simdega’s daughter Salima Tete captained the 2018 Youth Olympics and is currently practicing in the core group of the Indian team for the Slima Olympics. Similarly, Simdega’s Sushma, Sangeeta and Beauty have returned from Chilli in the junior team.
