Vodafone Idea (Vodafone-Idea) has launched a premium video on demand service (PVOD) service on its Vi Movies & TV App. For this, the telecom company has partnered with Hungama.
Payment will be made only after watching a favorite film or program
Vodafone-Idea said that on Vi Movies & TV App, users have to pay only to watch their favorite movie or program. The Pay Per View model is an extension of the company’s entertainment offering. With its help, users can view the desired content without any additional payment according to their recharge or postpaid plan. Understand in simple terms, under the Pay Per View model, users have to pay only to watch the program they want in their preferred language. The Vi-Hungama agreement aims to promote the digital ecosystem and give customers access to premium Hollywood films.

The PVOD service currently includes Hollywood films such as Tencent, Joker, Bird of Prey, SCOOB for Vodafone-Idea customers. VIL’s Chief Marketing Officer Avnish Khosla said that with the opening of economy and entertainment industry, new models of new content consumption are emerging. With their help, users can view the content at a fixed price. He said that the company is fully ready to work with partners like Hungama Digital for the growth of this segment.
